July hasn’t been the busiest month in terms of racing, with only one event on the calendar—the British Super Series at Mallory Park. Thanks to  the lighter racing schedule, I've managed to get a decent block of training in which i’m hoping will set me up nicely towards the end of the season

Heading into the Super Series race, I felt no pressure since it wasn’t a qualifier for any major championships. It was a standard sprint distance which consisting of a 750m swim, a 20km bike, and a 5km runrace where juniors competed alongside seniors. The swim didn’t start off ideally for me. I exited the water over 30 seconds behind the lead group. However, I managed to find a decent group on the bike leg, and we quickly caught up after about 5 kilometers. The front group wasn’t working to great together, and the second pack was closing in on us around 5 seconds per lap. so with around 4km to go i decided to solo break away , managing to secure a lead of around 15 seconds heading into transition. The run went surprisingly well considering the limited run training I've been able to do recently due to an injury. I finished 3rd among the seniors and 1st among the juniors. This was my first-ever senior national podium, which I was really happy with, and I'm hopeful for more podium finishes in the future.

At the moment, I'm in the middle of  training block, hoping to get some decent form for the final races of the season. The upcoming events hopefully include a D2 French Grand Prix race and, more importantly, the Junior World Qualifier, which is the main focus of my season. I'm also really hoping I can finally get a nice run block without getting injured, as so far this year has been a disaster in terms of run injuries.
